| There is no way that the highly compressed images you see on the web can compare to the archival quality photographic prints we provide. Individually made to order, these prints, produced using the latest digital technology, can be considered collectors’ items, and are not to be confused with mass-printed posters or prints.

Steve shoots many thousands of pictures but only selects a small handful for fine printing. Today he uses the latest professional digital cameras which produce superbly sharp images. Images shot on traditional film have been drum scanned to the highest quality, ensuring that each grain particle within the image is faithfully reproduced. |

Prints up to 12" x 18" are made using a Fuji Pictrography printer which produces outstanding photographic prints. This remarkable device is not an inkjet printer, but a photographic process, which converts the digital image to laser light and exposes it onto photographic paper, with a level of sharpness which cannot be matched by conventional means. Pictrography paper has an archival permanence claimed by Fuji to be consistent with conventional photographic paper. |

Prints larger than 12" x 18" are made on Fuji Crystal Archive paper which is, to our knowledge, the finest quality photographic paper available. With an archival permanence of sixty years, it is an ideal medium for the creation of museum-quality prints. The prints are exposed by either a Lightjet or a Lambda printer which utilises the latest laser technology to produce images with incredible sharpness and colour saturation. These prints are unmatched by any conventional enlarger-based process.

| Signature, prices and sizes. |
| |
| 12" x 9" and 12" x 18" prints use the Fuji Pictrography process and are unsigned.
Larger prints use the Fuji Crystal Archive process and are signed by Steve. There is no discernable difference in the visual appearance between the processes, but the Pictrography system allows us to offer more affordable prints at a smaller size. |

All prints are supplied unframed and unmatted, and are shipped in tubes. The copyright symbol as seen on the website will not appear on your print. The sizes indicated are paper sizes. Image sizes are slightly smaller, allowing for a white border. The white border allows the print to be handled by your framer without touching the actual image. The frames you see on the website are for illustration purposes only and are not meant to be a recommendation for a framing style. The paper sizes are standard, so a long narrow print will have a small border on the left and right sides, with a large border on the top and bottom.

so you may not allow the image to be published or grant publication
